my kid says it feels tactile and quite comfortable. It has a sole that resembles a regular shoe rather than the thin sole found in other types of water shoes. So he is better able to walk on rocky ground. He is very happy about that. It feels secure on the feet so it fits well. I find the style modern and tasteful. It is flexible yet rigid, allowing it to move freely while still providing protection from sharp objects. An extra loop sewn onto the end helps a lot when putting on the shoes. You don't need a shoehorn. What I like is that it doesn't seem to get dirty easily. The fabric is not light, which is good.
