amazingly strong, comfortable shoulder straps and back padding lots of front attachment options. makes a good overnight package or day trips where you want to take a lot of things with you. Compression straps can significantly reduce volume, making this a versatile pack. I'd like side pockets, but oh well. The waist belt leaves a lot to be desired, but it works and I still don't use it much.
