I needed a walking foot for my Kenmore 385.19606. I tried the Singer which was fine but the feed dogs were a little off and I was concerned about how close the needle was to the presser foot. This works great! I also like that all parts are metal inside and out, while the $20 Singer's foot has a lot of plastic. I don't know how it will hold up, but since similar looking ones cost $40-$80 I figured I could afford to break a few times and it was worth the risk. But first, as another reviewer mentioned, I'll try to oil it.
