It's worth the investment

I've been training with Peloton for over two years now. I use Peloton cycling shoes all the time. After riding many miles in these shoes, I decided to try new ones. I usually ride about 60-65 miles a week and wanted to buy myself a good pair of cycling shoes. After much research I decided to try the Aeroweave Fizik Bento Powerstrap R2. I was skeptical whether such an expensive cycling shoe was worth its price. I have to admit that I was completely wrong. I wear a size 45 in Peloton shoes and the same size in Physics. Fits perfectly. I wasn't sure if the "Power Straps" are really that good, but they are perfect. Allows for a nice fit with Velcro. Did I mention these things are light and airy? Surprisingly light, and because they're made from aero fabric, the airflow is amazing without sacrificing the stability of the shoe. The outsole on these shoes is the stiffest any physicist has ever made, and it's definitely several times stiffer than my Peloton shoes. What does that mean? More power is transferred to the pedals. It's HUGE important. On my second ride in these shoes, I hit a PR that hadn't changed in about a year. My average ride stats far exceed what I've done in Peloton shoes. Don't get me wrong, the Peloton was a good shoe. Just not at the level of these physicists. I never thought that I would buy cycling shoes so expensive. But now that I have it, I understand why they cost so much. It's definitely worth the investment if you can afford it. I plan to keep them for a long time.
