I tried a few spring loaded clips for my iPhone and hated them, they are so tight it's hard to grip the phone with both hands and straight reach just as hard to pull out if the clip doesn't spring back and pinch your fingers. Also, I have a thick battery compartment, and the typical ubiquitous spring clips don't allow for that extra thickness, so my phone keeps popping out when I don't put it in properly. On the contrary, this Ulanzi clamp is a delight, it's SO easy to slide my phone in and out, and it handles the entire thickness of my phone and battery case without the risk of it popping out. I love how durable, well made and adjustable it is with a much more thought out mechanism.
