I bought this Kenwood model for my Anytone 878 and it works great. I just radio checked the WIN system and all the operators said my voice was clear. This mic is way better than another model I bought from another seller. I found this type of D-shape headset to be great for car trips where the radio isn't loud enough or you don't want to disturb other passengers. Also, the lack of earbuds that plug directly into your ear is a real plus. After a while I find the headphones uncomfortable - not with this device. In short, I recommend this headset.
