MOSISO Silicone Keyboard Cover: Protective Skin For MacBook Pro 13" & MacBook 12" - Rose Quartz Review

Not the best fit for MacBook 13 inch. I liked how dark the black keyboard is. It protects very well. The only complaint is (probably due to my OCD) that as perfect as it is made to fit, it is a bit too small foe the keyboard and the outer edges of some of the keys aren't completely covered. In the photos I uploaded, the black keyboard protector is the MOSISO protector and the clear one is another keyboard protector that I bought. I like how thin it is. I can still feel the keys very nicely. It also lessens the sound of the clicking just a little bit, which I think is awesome since the typing can get pretty loud. Though I can't really see the backlight when I have it on low. Another thing is the fact that the character print on the cover does not perfectly align with the ones on the keyboard. I am not sure if they did that purposely or not. It's not a big deal but knowing me and my OCD, I want things to align perfectly…

I really enjoy this keyboard cover. It fits my Mac perfectly and doesn't slip of when I'm typing. My only complaints are that the letters and symbols on the cover don't match up with the ones that glow underneath, which isn't a problem for me because I never use the lights because it drains battery, but if you do use it just be aware. Also the white cover turns more of a very light grey when on the black keys, which is also not a huge deal, but it is a little different from what they advertise.

This cover fits great for the newer MacBook pros 13 inch. It stays well and minimizes the clicking of the keys, which is what I was looking for. However, I find it necessary to remove the cover when working at night (in the dark). You cannot see the keyboard light through this cover. This cover will also make the closing of the laptop a bit odd. Initially, I noticed that I could not close the MacBook all the way but after a while, it is no longer an issue.

The keyboard cover feels nice and looks great when it’s new and just out of the package. Do not expect the keyboard backlight to function however, since the cover is not see through at all and the light just gets muted or blocked. It’s a little less easy to put on and align than other TPU covers, since the silicone wants to stick to the keys and not slide around as easy. I ordered a case for my new macbook and it came with a keyboard cover that did not cover all of the keys. I ordered this one and was really happy that it did! Also, I like that it's thin. My keyboard cover for my old (2011) macbook was really thick, which was okay since that one had really loud keys and the cover softened the noise. But I never really liked how thick it was. Since the new macbook doesn't have loud keys it's really not necessary to have a thick keyboard cover. Great product…

I like how this protects my keyboard, I spilled coffee creamer on my keyboard a couple of months after getting my MacBook and I panicked. I immediately ordered a case and keyboard protector because I don't want to destroy my laptop. This was a cheap option and it does its job. Everyone once in a while it will slide off if I hold my laptop at a weird angle and it leaves keyboard marks on the screen after it's been closed, but other than that I will never use my laptop without it.

This is a great key board cover, it fits perfectly, its aligned perfectly, feels great and looks great. Definitely quiets down my loud typing slightly. To be honest, I love it overall. It makes my MacBook Pro stylish and cute with my pink marble decal sticker cover. I don't know why the other reviewers put a low star just for minor flaws. However, it is true though that the actual words, symbols, and letters in the keyboard do not match up on this keyboard cover, but it does not really annoy me. I gave it 5 stars because I review products for what they are. If your looking for something that is indestructible and glued down to your keys, this is not it. It has a clinging effect when applied to keys. It feels great on fingers and keeps junk out of keys. I use my Mac book with greasy fingers around machinery all day, and this does the job. Its really thin and Mac book closes great with no issues.

Overall, I really like this product, but there are a few cons I would like to address:It fits my 2017 MacBook Pro keyboard awkwardly. It doesn't cover the keys exactly right, and when I close my laptop theres a bit of a gap because of the cover.However, out of all of the keyboard covers I have tried to find, this one does fit it the best.I would recommend it to someone as long as they don't mind that their laptop won't close all the way, and that it doesn't fit the keys perfectly.

It fit perfectly on my macbook pro. I really love how thin it is, you barely notice it. I bought the black cover so it can match my keyboard, it looks just like the keyboard. The only complaint I have is that the light from the keyboard doesn't show through the cover.

I liked how well it fit over the keys and the way it looks on the laptop. It does have a small issue of easily warping in certain areas if you lift it up too much. Overall it is a great keyboard and keeps the keys clean underneath.

I've had this exactly 3 months. The color is beautiful and subtle, it hasn't stretched, and the letters all perfectly line up. The rose gold color I bought from this company in Dec. 2019 did not line up everywhere and stretched out after a few months of use. This one seems to be better made.

Its very smooth to the touch and muffles the clicking of the keyboard. I ordered the Midnight Green color but it turned out to be more gray than dark green color, not how it was advertised. Wow - I don't know where to start. This MOSISO cover is great out of the box. It fit better than I expected on my 2018 MBPro. It looks great, and felt great on the much-maligned butterfly keyboard. The quality of this product is beautiful (color and material) especially for the price.however, I’m probably just a little too picky. The keys didn’t match exactly so the materials hung over the edge a little. The biggest annoyance (to me) is the fact that the text on the cover did not match the backlit keys. If this is not something that bothers you, I’d totally recommend this cover!
