I use my iPad to create lots of short, silly (hopefully funny) videos that I post to various social networks. As the "star" of these things, I had to ask long-suffering family members to film various scenes or propped my iPad in precarious positions to take shots. I knew there were tripods that worked with tablets, but I never wanted to spend money. Now I would like to do it earlier. I've made quite a few videos with it and it's MUCH easier than what I've done before. I can get the shots I want without disturbing anyone or worrying about my iPad falling off the seven boxes I've stacked to get it the right height. In terms of quality and craftsmanship, this is completely sufficient. That's why I named this review What I Need. That's it. It works and if I take care of it, it looks like it will continue to work. I'm not thrilled with the quality or durability but it was great value and it's what I was looking for. So yes. If you are in a similar situation, I say do it. I'm so glad I finally bought this!
