Description of 27" Monitor LG 27UL500, 3840x2160, 60Hz, IPS, black/white

The slim LG UltraFine 27UL500 monitor features a 27-inch (69 cm) display with a larger working area. The model is mounted on an elegant stand. The resolution of the device based on the IPS matrix is 3840x2160 pixels and is combined with Mega DCR dynamic contrast ratio. This indicates the amazing quality of the broadcast image, coupled with a smooth and fast picture update. Another important advantage of the LG UltraFine 27UL500 monitor is the presence of eye protection technology that provides comfort even when working at the screen for a long time. Due to the matte finish, the slightest possibility of glare and light on the screen is excluded. The monitor with 98% sRGB color gamut can be mounted on a horizontal surface or on a wall using a VESA mount.

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

In general, I recommend to buy. This is one of the most inexpensive models, I thought for a long time that it was worth buying a model with a higher price with the thought: “well, it’s probably better there, since it’s more expensive, ” but working with this monitor is a pleasure, until I see the point in overpaying.

Pros
  • Great monitor for the money. I thought for a long time whether to take this model or still UL650, but the second one was 10 thousand more expensive and I decided to try this one. In the end, the monitor completely satisfied me, although I am very picky about the tools I work with. I set up a resolution of 5K through AMD VSR and I don’t know grief. I read a lot before buying a display about light or glow effect. But in my copy it is present in the lower left corner, but I saw it once when I looked specifically to find it. In normal use, I don't notice anything. For 4K, a 27 'display is almost ideal, only 5K can be better, but prices there start at 70 thousand. Maybe in the future I'll buy it, but so far I'm happy with everything.
Cons
  • Didn't find any flaws. Many people write about the stand, but it makes sense to write about it if I knew about it and was ready that it was not regulated. For me it is not critical. The main thing is tilt adjustment. Although, probably, we can say that the amplitude of the slope could have been done more, but these are the little things in life.

It can't be worse! A waste of money.

A trip to an authorized LG service center ended with the following diagnosis: - all image parameters are normal, you can come pick up your monitor The choice is yours

Pros
  • 4k
Cons
  • After 2 weeks, artifacts appeared on the screen in the form of green dots.

Great product, best quality.

I read in the reviews "HDR spoils the colors", but this is not true. In the monitor settings there is a profile "HDR effect", you do not need to use it. Real HDR is configurable: in the system, in the program, in the video, in the game.

Pros
  • Design, video interfaces, HDR support.
Cons
  • No speakers, thick bezels.

I am amazed at how well made the product is, just magical!

I bought an ARM Media T31 bracket for it, since the complete stand does not have the ability to adjust in height, and also takes up a lot of space on the table.

Pros
  • 27 inches in 4k resolution is a must have. I use 2 months. Saturated colors, the screen is so big that I hardly use the second monitor (24 inches) now.
Cons
  • HDR works here somehow strangely, but for the money it should not be. That's why I use it without.

Multiple advantages, including a huge 4K monitor Since I'm not a professional photographer, I won't comment on the hues used. It looks like there won't be any problems with the games, IDE, or theater. Some drawbacks include: there is one dead pixel! In addition, I have the impression that this is not a warrantable situation.

Nice product, happy with my purchase and may buy again.

Has some pros: huge 4k monitor Since I'm not a professional photographer, I won't comment on the hues used. It looks like there won't be any problems with the games, IDE, or theater. Got cons? One of your pixels is dead! In addition, I have the impression that this is not a warrantable situation.

I have not regretted the purchase, everything is fine.

Pros: a big, high-resolution screen. Since I'm not a professional photographer, I won't comment on the hues used. There doesn't appear to be any issues with the games, IDE, or movies. Some drawbacks: One dead pixel! And I get the impression this isn't a warranty issue.

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

Pluses: spacious 4K display Colors are beyond my expertise, so I won't comment. There doesn't appear to be any issues with the games, IDE, or movies. One dead pixel is a con. In addition, I have a hunch that this is not a warranty issue.

Everything is fine, there are only minor drawbacks.

Has pros: large 4k monitor Since I'm not a professional photographer, I won't comment on the hues used. It looks like there won't be any problems with the games, IDE, or theater. With these drawbacks: Dead pixel (one)! In addition, I have the impression that this is not a warrantable situation.

What you need, a cool purchase, I advise you.

Distinct benefits: a humongous, 4K display. I have no opinion on color schemes because I'm not a professional photographer. Everything looks good in the games, the IDE, and the movies. Negatives include a single dead pixel. And I get the impression this isn't a warranty issue.

Unsuitable product, not worth the money.

The monitor was brought into the country illegally, so LG will not service it under warranty. This was the reason why the warranty service was denied. The seller, on the other hand, provides somewhat uninvolved responses. To brush me off, they simply tell me to wait up to 45 days from the moment we receive your monitor until we can evaluate the situation. And the fact that he cheated on me with the LG service is of little concern to them; in any case, I've grown weary of spending time with him.

Pros
  • Picture quality
Cons
  • A month later, the matrix stopped working, and it started flickering and producing afterimages.

Return my money! Disgusting product and poor quality.

Because the monitor was imported into the country illegally, LG refused to honor the warranty. The merchant himself provides incredibly evasive responses. They simply tell me to wait up to 45 days from the time we receive your monitor, brushing me off. Additionally, they don't care that he was sleeping with the LG service, and I'm already sick of hanging out with him. I believe neither the money nor the monitor will be replaced. I have the impression that they will repair it and give it back to

Pros
  • image caliber
Cons
  • A month later, the matrix expired, started to flicker, and produced an afterimage.

I wanted to take Philips, but changed my mind at the last moment, and took the LG UL500, I am completely satisfied with the monitor! Let me tell you right now, I'm not a gamer. The monitor is used for watching YouTube videos, working with photos (RAW processing from a DSLR), and web surfing. For such tasks, the monitor is simply superb, given its cost. I don't think you can find anything better for the money.

Pros
  • Image quality, Flickerfree backlight
Cons
  • Didn't find

After a month of use, I can write an honest review. Four stars is good, and that's exactly what this monitor deserves. The resolution is amazing, after switching from Full HD the difference is noticeable. The monitor is stylish, thin frame, I really like the white back panel, it creates a feeling of merging with the wall. Many in the reviews carried the monitor by the stand, they say, flimsy. I don’t know what to do to make the monitor shake, but during normal work I don’t hit the table with my

Pros
  • Resolution (true 4K), design, easy installation and adjustment
Cons
  • Color rendering, operation indicator

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

Pros below: Low price (aliexpress gave -30% for "your price"). 4K 60 fps. HDMI and DisplayPort FreeSync (not tested) The real choice of color has little effect on something if the monitor is against the wall - only the back panel has a color, in any case the front is black. I don’t know why someone complained about HDR being non-switchable, these are already questions for the system, and not for the monitor. An interesting feature in the form of a Dual Connector, which allows you to draw a pict

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

Completely satisfied with the monitor, excellent quality for a very reasonable price. The best choice for mac mini on m1, because imac is only 24 inches and this is not enough. Pros: Excellent monitor, took under mac mini on m1. No glare or dead pixels. White color is very unusual for a monitor and looks very expensive. Great cables included. Also white. The picture seems to be really a picture, not pixels on the screen) With its cons: long inclusion after falling asleep of the computer, it is…

The warranty service was denied because the monitor was brought into the country illegally, LG will not service it. The seller himself gives very passive answers. To shrug me off, they just say wait up to 45 days from the time we receive your monitor. And the fact that he lay with the LG service, they don’t care, I’m already tired of hanging around with him. I think the money will not be returned, the monitor will not be replaced. It feels like they will somehow fix it and return it to me…

Pros
  • Picture quality
Cons
  • The matrix died a month later, began to flicker and give an afterimage.
