It works well once I was able to get from the Landry room to the garage. The cord wasn’t long enough to go around the side of the house. The charging plug is already a bit scuffed and scratched up from threading it through the hole I drilled. So if you care about cosmetic appeal, be more gentle. It is sturdy though.I like that the screen gives you detailed information - how many volts and amps currently used, how long it’s been charging, how much added etc. So glad my car charges faster now!

This product seems to have a sort life expectancy, about 2 years, right around the supposed warranty. Have used the charger once a month, for 2 years. This is a portable unit. It does not have any other function except the unit state indicator (3 LEDs). As soon as I connect to the car, it start to charging. It took 5-6 hours using level 1 charger but with this one little over 2 hoursIt is also comes with a hanger for the cable and a nozzle holster. This is a great charger for the price. I have a Dryer Buddy 30A auto switch at my dryer plug so I run this 26A charger and it pulls really good amp and kw numbers. I monitor the draw with my Dryer Buddy and with the built in monitor for the charger and I am pulling max kws for my FIAT 500e. Charging is much quicker than I thought it would be. Charger looks good and I was concerned about it being a 26 amp charger since I am using it on a 30 amp circuit. I thought the highest you were supposed to go was 24 amps. I guess I will know very soon if the 26 amp charger works, I had no problems getting charging nozzle out. This charger cut my charging time down. So far so good.

Item was installed as the original 16amp 240 charger failed and would error periodically. The install was done and without any issues. The screen shows that it supports the rated output. The accessories included such as clamp, wire holder mount and bag are nice additions. This is for a BMW i3 and the car charged at the 26A rate for this outlet. Works great. Adds about 10-15% per hour. I can drive my bolt till it gets to 10-20% and recharge to a full battery overnight.

This is a very high quality charger. The J1172 charging gun is made of very good materials. It even has a cap, which for some reason, many others don't. In addition, it's panel is very useful, as it shows amount of time the charging took, the amount of Kwh for that session, the temperature, the amps it's currently doing. We have been using this charger daily since July to charge a hybrid Range Rover and it has worked perfectly every time. The cable and charger have a high quality feel to them and there has not been any visible wear over 4 months of use. It came with a sturdy hanging bracket and a travel bag. I was looking for something that just worked, and this is it.

This works really well! Quality construction on the plug (though it is a little snug on my Bolt). The electronics seem to work well. I ran into one irregularity where I had to power cycle (unplug from wall and plug back in) when the unit decided it didn’t want to charge, then it started working again. Packaging and accessories are nice.

Takes under 2hrs to charge our 2023 wrangler 4XE vs. 12hrs the stock 110v charger. Worth the money. Seems well built. Thanks for attention.

I didn't notice any problem so far. Quality is great, charges my ev from 20% to 100% over a night. I couldn't install another nema 14-50 for ev charging so I had to reuse existing nema 14-30 somehow. After some reviews i decided to get one of these. On top of that I had to install a switcher between dryer and ev after some time (see the pics) this way it's easier to operate both, less hassle with plugs.
