Great product. Works as advertised. I was a bit hesitant at first as I am old school. You know suction with a hose, get a mouthful of gas. This worked perfectly to transfer 15 gallons of gas to my boat. Also fast acting. Didn't time it, but certainly between 1 - 2 minutes per 5 gallon container.

For years I used the more common 6 foot, 1/2 inch version of siphon hoses. But for gassing my boat I found the 6 foot hose was barely long enough and I also wanted to try a bigger hose to empty 5 gallon cans quicker. This hose is well-made, seals against backflow very well, and is maybe twice as fast as the 1/2 inch version. I'm glad I got it and highly recommend. I am a new Tri-toon owner and this siphon was recommended to me by a friend. Wow.this is one of the coolest things I have bought in quite awhile. Worked flawlessly on the first try. If you have a gas powered anything and you are using 5 gal. or similar containers to fuel your toy.this is for you!

The hose part of this was coiled and trying to get it uncoiled was difficult. The hose is stiff and not very flexible and got worse when I took it outside in the 50 degree weather to drain my 55 gallon rain water barrel. I had tried to get it straighter by hanging inside the warm house but that failed to make it easy to use to use as it still was quite coiled.The good news was that I got it started and when I came back the barrel was mostly empty which saved me a lot of time and effort pumping…

This thing really works! I don’t know how, but it does! It’s easy and clean. No more spilled gasoline messing up the environment and creating a fire hazard!

Was able to siphon the gas tank very easily. It does work. Only thing I wished the tube is little longer. Make sure the metal piece is secure, other wise you may loose it in the tank

Such a simple device that siphoned 5 gallons of gas in just over a minute. The 1/2 tube was the perfect size to siphon gas into my truck. The 6 foot hose was long enough to put the gas can in the bed and siphon the gas into the tank. Just a couple up and down strokes with the tube and you see the gas fill the tube and begin to flow. Such a simple way to symphony gas now. No need to purchase some expensive siphoning tool. For $11, this was an very inexpensive product that does the job.

The first time I used it it worked perfectly. The next time I couldn't position it optimally for suction. The container you are pulling from has to be well above the one you are sending the fluid to. It can't be just the same level or just a little above the other. Otherwise it is hit and miss.

Once you get the hang of it, this thing works so much better than one of those squeeze pumps.The trick is that the gas can has to be higher than where the gas is going.I was able to siphon 5 gallons way faster due to the larger diameter.

The hose assembly works well for siphoning fuel from fuel cans into vehicles. Only major consideration is having the can positioned high enough that it's above the hose outlet. It lives outside here, and it seems to be holding up in the climate well enough.It doesn't get every last drop but it gets enough that I'm not concerned with how little remains, I could easily pour the remainder in using a funnel once the load of fuel in the can is lightened.

The hose is extremely stiff making it very hard to get lined up correctly and stay relatively straight. It also makes it difficult to shake in order to prime it.

As a 70 year old woman, filling a car gas tank with a 5 gallon can is a chore especially with the current nozzles. Well no struggling with this siphon! Easily transferred gas from an old can that was splitting into a new can and then into my gas tank. Just remember that the end with the metal piece needs to be in a can that is higher than the can or tank you are putting the gas into. It is a great invention! Worth the money!

Hose stays coiled up,will try to straighten in summer,plus it's way to short,due to stiffness.bought it for when I close pool for winter,to keep water off of cover,cut a piece of hose that's straight, and used it,to siphon ,works just fine,don't waste your money .

I needed a simple siphon to transfer diesel fuel from one tank to another. It did that job very well.The hose came packaged in a thin box. Coiled nicely. I simply stretched the hose out and that took out most of the coil.Use is very simple. Just bounce the weighted end vertically in the fluid you are transferring. I emptied my pool for the winter it was very easy to follow the directions it worked really good way better than just trying to use like a regular hose I attached it to another hose so I could empty the water out of the end of my property would recommend

Concept is perfect but the hose has way toomuch plastic in it. Once you get it to lose the round tight shipping shape it bent in half preventing the water flow. I cut the hose and added new and it’s fine.

Worked better than any other Siphon I have ever used and at twice the speed. Highly recommend. I use it 4 times a week to refuel a rented pontoon.

Need to be sure the bottom of your gas can is above the tank input. Works like a charm. Just sit back and let it flow. 5 gallon can emptied in less than 2 minutes.

Purchased after my washer broke down with a full barrel of water. This quickly got the drum emptied before the water got gross. Super easy to use.

I got two of these - one for drinking water and the other for fuel. They work fine except for one detail. When trying to get the siphon going, you have to VIGOROUSLY oscillate the nozzle in the container to be siphoned from 10 - 15 times. If you can take the curvature out of the tube, it starts more easily, but when it is curved, getting it started is not easy. Otherwise, it works great.
