It is a simple and well made product.
This is a portable unit. It does not have any other function except the unit state indicator (3 LEDs). As soon as I connect to the car, it start to charging. It took 5-6 hours using level 1 charger but with this one little over 2 hoursIt is also comes with a hanger for the cable and a nozzle holster. That is very nice!I only used little over a month but so far no problem what so ever.
