I have binoculars that I like but the holes in them only fit the small strap that comes with it. This belt wore out quickly. I added this connector set to my binoculars and now I can easily switch between different carry straps and shoulder straps. It was a bit difficult at first to figure out how to add them to my bins. Since there are slots at each end, I initially thought the metal ring should go through them. But the distance was clearly too small. Instead, thread the tip of the metal ring through the hole at the end of the slot like you are putting a key in a key ring. It was pretty easy.
