Review on Filters Reverse Neutral Density Clamshell by Jason Cavett

Affordable quality filters

I've just started to get serious about landscape photography and you'll quickly learn the importance of ND filters, especially graduated ND filters, to get the best results. Stepped ND filters from leading manufacturers (e.g. Lee) are expensive; These are quality products but they are expensive. They are also mostly made of a polymeric material, which has the advantage of a very gentle gradation in the density of the dye used, but they can also be scratched. Since I spend a lot of time hiking outdoors and don't always tend to my gear like a professional photographer, I was drawn to ICE filters because they are made of optical glass. Not only that, each comes in its own hard plastic protective case that I can easily slip into my backpack. The quality is excellent, maybe 90 percent better than filters from leading brands, but 60 percent cheaper. While filters give images a very slight blue cast ("cold," as photographers call it), it's barely noticeable and, if you notice it, it's easily removed in post-processing. I think this is a great set of graduated ND filters for those who want to delve into landscape photography.
