This fireplace insert fits well, looks good and works well, but I find it too expensive. The manufacturer claims it will heat up to at least 1,000 square feet. This is anything but true. Its heat output at full fan load for a maximum permissible time of up to 20 minutes is significantly lower. Keep in mind that it's not rated as a primary heat source, rather a secondary heat source, which is to be expected, but overall I'm very unhappy with its ability to stay warm even in close proximity. I would return it but it looks good and is nice to look at while running. Bottom line, it's not worth the money I paid and I wouldn't recommend this stove. To make matters worse, this seller refuses to reply to me regarding a warranty issue. They grabbed my money and left!
