It's a bang. I got them because I have ADHD and can't sit still without fidgeting. The feeling of smaller and denser spheres in a larger sphere is really unusual and pleasant. I could play with them all day. In fact, I practically do that. I think that's why they've become more flexible and flatter. I think it's due to the heavy use and I don't blame the manufacturer. I took off a star because after just a few days or a week of playing with each ball, the outer ball was no longer transparent and started to discolour, look cloudy and a little beige. It starts out really nice and then builds up over time. However, these are the coolest toys I have ever found. I will buy them again when mine are all crushed. I just hope they can fix the discoloration issue somehow. One note: if you have a dog it would be nice to keep it. My dogs thought they were dog toys when I first opened the packaging.
