Review on πŸ”Š Edifier R2000DB Studio Monitors: Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers with Optical Input, 120 Watts RMS - Black by Aneta Olszewska ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall good, but expected more.

About the sound, the highs and the mids are lacking in definition, but the bass is just like that. It lacks dynamics and density, the drums play weakly, and the bass is not what it should be. It sounds like Beats headphones from Dr. Dre, bang, hoot, but this is not the bass that should be. The study of acoustics is very common on the internet, and many assessments indicate that, in practice, the sound is not balanced. As the highs aren't very good, a computer shouldn't use it because the center will also sound slow at low volumes. If the volume is turned up in order to coax them into playing in some capacity, they will be unsuitable for use in close quarters due to the fact that they are extremely loud. By the way, using them with a computer is cumbersome because the controls for the sound are located on the back of the headphones. If their price was comparable to that of 10,000 wooden ones, they would be the greatest option available in this category. Do not be misled by reviews that have been purchased; acoustics are not worth the cost. Seventeen thousand Instead of purchasing pricey VCL and DAC from China, it is advisable to invest in passive speakers. This package will provide you with significantly greater sound as well as feeling.

Pros
  • Producing to a high standard. Appearance.
Cons
  • Purchased for the purpose of listening to music while working. The price for the summer of 2022 is excessive. These speakers are not worth the money that they want for them. The sound of the speakers is ruined by the built-in DAC, which has very poor quality; also, the sound transmitted by optical is inferior than the sound transmitted through analog. I checked the sound through an analog by connecting it to another DAC with good wires. I specially brought SMSL M400 from home to use with the speakers, but of course it's very expensive for these speakers. However, when I used it with them, they sounded great (for their price).
