About 30 seconds after I plugged the phone in, a small hole appeared in the front of the transparent plastic, large enough to be visible and small enough to see it not being too big a deal. I was expecting it to be a bit more durable and actually waterproof. But I don't use it for swimming or anything and it's ok for running. It's comfortable enough that I don't notice it, and it's easy for me to manipulate my smartphone while it's in my pocket. In addition, the locking mechanism is neat. Update 8/16 A day or two after writing the above review I was contacted via email and received a replacement item. Lots of bonus points for supporting their product. Even more bonus points for replacement works great. No complaints.
