Doesn't work like USB 3 DO NOT USE FOR OCULUS RIFT

I used this cable to expand my play space with my Oculus Rift but lo and behold it's not USB 3 it's USB 2 so er From what I've checked, that's just a USB 2.0 extension cable, incorrect listing
