Very disappointed in humidifiers

I ordered this thinking it would look cute in my new room. I received it today and I liked it so much. Then when I poured water in and turned it on, I was greeted with that annoying high-pitched squeak! It was so annoying I got a headache and had to turn off the machine. It has a very cute design but the annoying squeaking is driving me insane. I hope I get my money back. Wouldn't recommend unless you find high tinnitus peaceful.
