I have bought the same o-rings before and love them! I usually use 5mm mostly and only ordered a pack of these from the same brand but they were much thinner and didn't hold up well. They are very strong (much more difficult to work with in the smaller sizes) but are better suited for jewelry making as they hold up well over time. In this last pack of different sizes the 5mm was poorly cut (one side is very angled, and the other side is almost completely flat) so they didn't close properly or fully no matter what I tried. I was so sad because this is a brand I have used and trusted before and I have tried many other types of 5mm o-rings and never found one as thick and strong. (Even wholesale their supposed own brand) I am sending them back for a replacement. If the next batch is badly cut I don't know what I'll do. I have a small business and it is currently on hold until I can get the parts I need. *UPDATE: Although the second batch they sent out was better than the previous one, they still had a pointed end and a flat end, making them impossible to close completely. with no noticeable gap between the hairs. They are made from durable and high quality stainless steel but haven't been cut properly lately. So sad because the first batch I received was perfect and wonderful! I will try a new brand.
