After a lot of patience I finally found a garage light with a large detection radius. I've used bulbs with a tiny other raised dot on the bottom of the bulb (hope you know what I'm talking about, those are most that come up when you search) and they're great for outdoor door lighting, but not everything , where you really need light. So happy. Gone are the days of standing in my garage and waving my arms around trying to turn on the light. Well I love them, they appear the moment I open my real garage door and wherever I am in the garage just a brief moment and they are on. Can someone tell me how upset I was with my ex and now dead to me? lol. costs money. Update in a few days. I was willing to lower the rating to zero or remove it. because I thought they were always on. but actually there are cannon suns (radar works folks!) sensing garage door movement from the hallway (I have an unused little dog door with a plastic coating over it) and the radar picking up movement from the hallway through the laundry with open door (I actually checked that to make sure I'm not crazy)), so if you think it's always on. Look for a source of movement or light. but I also noticed that they don't turn off immediately when the garage door is raised (light is allowed). Anyway, I can't believe I spent so much time looking at the lightbulb. but that was the level of my frustration. anyway good buy
