The belt is made of GENUINE leather. The product description simply says LEATHER, that's the bait and switch in my book. Genuine leather is a cheap material made from pressed scraps that won't last more than a few months as it tends to delaminate under stress. I've made this mistake twice in my life, once with a strap that looked like Dukie after about a week and the other time with a watch strap that fell apart after washing my hands while putting the watch on. "Genuine leather" is garbage and should not be used for anything that can be claimed in any way, such as a leather jacket. B. a belt buckle. Check google before buying this belt. This seller should be ashamed.
