Review on ACDelco 19180340 Equipment Conditioning Compressor by Jeff Long

CTSV LSA Stretch for installing the A/C belt, an essential tool.

Watched all YouTube videos, Cable tie mod, Gates belt tool, Screwdriver (not recommended), Gen 2 V LSA issue - limited space to work, cam harness and bracket makes work difficult Use standard tools and zip ties not to mention the zip tie doesn't work and that would be my second best option. This tool makes it super easy. The A/C lines are very close to the pulley making it much more difficult for the tool to slip around the A/C clutch. I had to disconnect the A/C lines on the drive side next to an alternative. Wiggle the suction cup and bam! Put the belt on and use engine compression to keep it in place. It takes a few tries to tighten it and you hold it in place. a few twists and turns and inclusions, you may need to make a few adjustments, and you're good to go. The tool lasts a couple of years, fortunately it does not need to be installed, but about 90-100 thousand miles.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...
