Came with dead battery. I think. It can be broken in other ways. I can't find anyone willing to open it up and change the battery because retailers only want to service the watches they sell, from jewelry stores to Walmart all say the same thing. Wanted to buy a tool kit to open the back of the watch but have no idea what tools I'll need; in sets of 4 or 144 pieces - why all that? It's easier to ditch the stupid watch and buy it from Target. I would have sent it back but my daughter threw the box away after Christmas.
