poor countertop finish

At first there was a gaping hole in the box that the table was in. Luckily the table wasn't damaged. The finish on the top is of poor quality. An optimist would call it a "tried and tested look" when in reality it's bumpy and cheap, like the white stripe around the perimeter. I don't think you can get a quality table for $50 these days - at least not from this company.
