Bought this as a Christmas present for my 9 month old baby. My husband and I were specifically looking for toys and activities that would allow him to continue playing and having fun throughout his childhood years. Among our search results was this type of pop-up tunnel and ball pit. He's a very active little boy and I think he'll enjoy it. He has yet to play with it since it's not Christmas yet, but there were a few things that caught my eye right away and I wanted to pass them on to others. I'll update once he gets a chance to play with him sometime after Christmas. I hope he likes it and I can update my review to reflect that.1. This is partly my stupidity, partly false advertising. THIS DOES NOT COME WITH BULLETS. If you scroll down the item description it says what is included but the bullets are not there. Nowhere is it explicitly stated that balls are not included. I can't say much about the quality/durability of the product as we haven't used it yet, but I chose this item because it was the best price for what you got - I felt that at least a few balls came with the goods. That being said, there may be better options. Other reviewers have mentioned that it takes 200-400 balls to fill. That's an additional $40 in balloons. In addition, the object is repeatedly represented with balls; and not just staged pictures with children playing. I say plain white background images have balls. I feel like it definitely made me think the balls came with the set and I think that's a little unfair. I should have read the other reviews more carefully and understood this before purchasing.2. There is some discrepancy regarding the recommended age for this item. My husband and I keep a close eye on our son, but accidents do happen and are MUCH more common when your child is using or playing with something that is not age appropriate. According to the product description on Amazon, it is recommended from 6 months. The bag that the product comes in says it is recommended for 1+ year. The bag also has a suffocation warning stating it is not suitable for children under 3 years of age. We will still at least let our 9 month old crawl through the tunnel when he gets him for Christmas but will be a lot more careful as he gets older.3. The carrying case that the item comes in arrived with what appears to be hot glue. I'm wondering if this is really new. I don't think it would be acceptable to give to anyone if bought as a gift but as it is for home use only we are keeping it.
