Thule Product Design Qualtiy Slips – Sad

I am very disappointed in the quality of this backpack. I bought Thule Β± 4 years ago and it was a great product - it still works and looks great. I inherited Samsonite from a colleague when he left the company so I used it to be a good resource manager for the company. A year later, the backpack shoulder strap adjuster broke - no wonder, because it's made of plastic. Remembering my old Thule with aluminum belt adjusters, I ordered a Thule to replace the Samsonite. Looking at the packaging here at Revain, I noticed that the front latch was also aluminum and looked just like the old Thule, so I ordered it. Bad decision. The new Thule has an aluminum closure in the front, BUT. sad. Belt adjusters are made of plastic. How much larger should the aluminum controls be compared to the plastic version? Maybe 40 cents? Jeez, that's a $120 backpack - give us the quality we expect from you. Sad. I could send it back. Just take a look.
