Review on ACDelco 15288247 Original Equipment Speaker by Bankroll Reed

I installed a speaker in the left rear door of my 2003 Silverado 1500 Ext Cab in place of the stock Bose speaker. It was as simple as plugging in the cable and snapping it in place. This product is much more powerful than the original standard speaker. The latch in the panel is metal, not plastic. The actual speaker also appears to be more durable. Revain had the best price ever for this speaker. Although not necessarily stated in the description, this genuine product is a genuine Bose speaker. This was something I worried about for both price and functionality (other brand speakers don't play well with the Bose unit in these trucks). The sound quality was excellent. If you are looking for a replacement for your Silverado ext. rear cabin speaker Bose, this is the speaker you need.
