I tried it myself mostly because my hands are shaking! Its independent legs are flexible and allow it to be used in very unusual conditions. It also has an adjustable ball joint where the phone holder attaches to the tripod. The bluetooth remote is connected directly to my phone; without problems. If you have an iPhone (Apple), the remote control controls the taking of photos and videos. Android phones, like mine, only take pictures; no video. The camera is mounted on a clamp mount and it is recommended to remove the housing to install it. I didn't remove my case and it worked fine. I am very happy that now I can take beautiful photos with my phone!
