I bought a longer 6ft cable to connect one of my cameras around the house that required a rectangular cable and it fit the bill perfectly. However, it does have a few downsides that I noticed. The cable itself is very thin compared to many other alternatives on the market. It's only a matter of time before I start feeling mine will break if I move it too much. This cable charges very slowly. I tried to charge my phone but it took a long time to charge. Luckily I use it for the camera so it doesn't bother me. The USB head is very thick compared to other cables, which can be an issue when using it with a phone in a case.
