Tougher than glass or plastic.
Bought this bottle specifically for my cup holder on my motorcycle. Had it for all of 3 days before I took it for a test ride. Cruising down the highway at 80 mpg, my cup holder flipped upside-down and the bottle took a high speed tumble. As you can see, it actually held up very well. It's mostly superficial damage. The cap still has an excellent seal and still useable.
