Description of Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 225/65 R17 102S winter

Blizzak DM-V2 is a winter friction tire designed for crossovers. This tire is made of microporous rubber - the tread absorbs moisture and improves grip on the roadway in any weather. Compared to previous models, a greater coefficient of grip and driving comfort has been achieved. The Blizzak DM-V2 car tire has a V-type directional tread pattern. This feature guarantees confident traction on slippery, icy road surfaces. . Premium Friction Tire Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2. The wheels are characterized by increased traction and increased reliability. Bridgestone''s Blizzak winter tires have been topping the list for decades in all kinds of tests and ratings, while enjoying great popularity in countries with adverse weather conditions. The Blizzak DM-V2 model is one of the new products from the Japanese manufacturer, being designed for off-road vehicles (crossovers and SUVs), as well as station wagons equipped with an all-wheel drive transmission. When developing the Blizzak DM-V2, Japanese tire manufacturers paid special attention to ensuring maximum traction on snow and ice. To achieve this ambitious goal, a lot of work has been done, primarily affecting the tread pattern. It has changed markedly compared to the previous model, while providing a more even distribution of external pressure across the contact patch. This made it possible to significantly move the moment of wheel slip into slip, which, in turn, improved acceleration efficiency, handling and stability when driving on snow. At the same time, a system of cross channels calculated using computer simulation tools, special “snow traps” and an increased number of sipes provide reliable grip on snow in all directions. Of the other features of the tread pattern of this model, it is worth noting the angle of the drainage grooves. It is selected in such a way as to ensure the maximum speed of water and sludge removal from the contact patch. At the same time, the blocks of the shoulder zones contain special recesses that improve grip when driving in deep snow. Another innovation was the tread profile, which is characterized by an almost zero radius. This design feature provides a more uniform distribution of external pressure over the lamellas, which, in turn, increased the reliability of their adhesion to the road surface. In addition, the flat profile of the tread made it possible to increase the size of the contact patch, and with it the number of gripping edges formed by the sipes. All this had the most favorable effect on handling when driving on roads slippery from snow and ice. Despite all the tricks taken with regard to the tread pattern, most of the traction is still provided by the rubber compound. In this model b...

I operate ML. Never have I purchased summer tires. I travel 35 to 40 kkm on average each year. I don't understand the point in switching to summer footwear. I don't go over 180 km/h on the road. The preceding DM-V1 series lasted precisely two consecutive winters and summers. I believe DM-V2 will last through a third winter. I'm not after any horses. On 17 wheels, I travel. Boards, sidewalks, and flooding in the city. Any track on the M4 or M2 may be driven at 160 mph without incident; however…

Pros
  • Price and quality. more durable than the preceding DM-V1
Cons

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

I've never worn Velcro before; up until now, I've just worn spikes. In general, I highly suggest tires. Although I read about these Velcro qualities on the forums, there is a pretty intriguing pattern in this rubber. When the temperature rises above -10, the tires drag even at speeds of 20 to 30 km/h when turning on ice and packed snow. However, as soon as the temperature drops to -15 degrees or lower, the Blizzak linden's entire range of qualities become apparent. Here, a ride on any surface…

Pros
  • 3. Rowing in the snow with a boom thanks to the checkerboard tread; 1. It rides nicely on slush; 2. It is wonderful on dry, wet asphalt; 3. 4. Comfortable at any temperature, making it virtually silent; 5. Tiny potholes and asphalt cracks that devour you whole.
Cons
  • Braking on ice and slush; 2. Skidding on ice that is tightly packed; and 3. Finding a way out of the rut is challenging.

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

In my opinion, winter tires are the finest option for the Hong Kong climate. It rides on a huge minivan with front-wheel drive and there have been no complaints about it as of now. Excellent traction is achieved on snow-covered pavement, wet pavement, and ice that is covered with a thin layer of snow. I haven't yet had any experience traveling. Even on an icy hill, where I occasionally skidded, driving was not an issue for me. An outstanding performance with tires that do not have studded…

Pros
  • Excellent hold in any weather, and low noise level. Price in comparison to that of branded alternatives.
Cons
  • unidentified at this time

Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

Expenses associated with the Outlander 3 in the size 225/60R17. On a snowy road, if you keep your accelerations to a moderate level, the car will ride the same as it would on asphalt, but it will slow down so well that I will get up like a rock. When you give it a good amount of gas in the snow, the back end will make a bit of a roaring sound when you turn. After leaving the snow on slippery asphalt, it slipped twice as a result of the requirement for fast acceleration (exiting a secondary road

Pros
  • Even when compared to studded ones, this one is relatively quiet and performs admirably on ice pavement.
Cons
  • It is quite risky to accelerate in a corner at full drive until the tires are free of snow since it causes the vehicle to skid severely, despite the fact that it can be quickly leveled by the electronics thereafter.

I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

We are discussing V1, not V2 at this time. Dimension 265/65R17. I spent four years away from home and travelled almost 80,000 kilometers at that time. I will make a reservation as soon as possible because I have used it to drive on asphalt during the entire year in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Region, and I am not expecting a miracle to occur. I take my driving very seriously and am quite cautious. After roughly forty thousand miles, the lamellas were totally "gone." After another twenty, the wear got…

Pros
  • Road holding that is satisfactory regardless of the weather. And this is the crux of the matter.
Cons
  • Rapid wear Noisy? (in comparison) Captures holes with relative ease

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I installed this rubber on myself just at the point when there was severe ice, and I was driving to the Bridgestone officials on summer tires so that I could purchase and install Blizzak DM-V2. I was driving on summer tires that were just six months old, and I rolled out to the junction twice like a cow on ice because it was so slippery! Driven no faster than 20 kilometers per hour! I went to the officials, got tires with the specifications Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 235/60 R18 107S, drove onto…

Pros
  • silent and sturdy on ice
Cons
  • floats in a cabbage at a speed of 160-170 kilometers per hour on dry pavement.

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Long decided to go with the L200. In the time leading up to then, there were surges in the Nok ian CAB. And on the most recent iteration of the Outlander, there was neither Nokian nor velcro. They were successful in the end. A same tale may be told about Velcro and spikes. At the end of each season, I disposed of one to two balloons that had hernias. In most cases, I keep my silence regarding the spikes, and half of them flew out. I purchased these Velcro and they are simply fantastic tires…

Pros
  • Although the cost is not very high, the product's quality and features are on par with those of the most expensive ones.
Cons
  • There is not one at all.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I didnt expect the quality to be so high.

This is possibly the most advantageous choice available in the market for crossovers. I would want to comment in particular on how well they handle themselves on snow; they are quite good at acceleration, braking, and making tight turns. The tread remains clean even after driving in a combination of snow and mud because it cleans itself quite rapidly. This is yet another advantage of these tires. Even at speeds of 30–40 kilometers per hour, it emerges fairly abruptly from the rut; however, this

Pros
  • The text contains all of the information. cleanliness of the treads, reliability, and protection
Cons
  • There are none that are readily apparent.

Great product, best quality.

In preparation for the fourth season, I shall roll such Velcro. Rubber in the size 215/65/16 is satisfactory. Spikes, in my opinion, are typically pointless in urban environments; the only bothersome aspect is the clatter they make. The most important thing is to pay attention to both the speed limit and the distance. I leave town once every two weeks, and I haven't had any problems on the highway in any of those trips. When reversing through the lanes, snow banks are navigated without any…

Pros
  • noise reduction wear resistance Maintains a firm grip on the road.
Cons
  • Have not discovered

Great product, best quality.

I removed the studding before purchasing it in the beginning of February since, frankly, I didn't care for it at all. Produced in Japan (the preceding sentence should not be construed as an advertisement; it is merely for your information). Extremely gentle in comparison to the spikes. So, obviously there is no sound coming from it. When the stud is removed, the steering response is slower than normal, but it is more even. This is something that I believe to be vital on slick surfaces in order…

Pros
  • Price, behavior, and quality of product
Cons
  • In general, no

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Mitsubishi Out-3. Made the transition from spikes to this Velcro here. The self-assured manner displayed across all terrain types, including open ice, took me by complete and utter surprise. Even if there is ice on the road, the car is able to come to a complete stop without any issues. Yes, all-wheel drive performs its job. You can't fool physics, and you certainly shouldn't anticipate that it to slow down on ice in the same way as it does on spikes! Kneads the snow porridge with…

Pros
  • Very quiet (IMHO). Soft. Outstanding performance on all terrains, including ice, in terms of both acceleration and braking.
Cons
  • No. It is impossible to lift the wheel due to its subjective weight. But it's possible that everyone does it.

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

I'll tell you briefly about this rubber, it's excellent rubber, it's on my car, but believe it or not, there is an analogue to which I would put 7 stars, this is Toyo Observe GSi-5 rubber, I couldn't buy it this time because I didn't have my sizes, (changed the car), if you have your sizes, then take it and you won't regret it, I've been riding these tires for 6 years (2 sets), herring

Pros
  • An excellent grip on the road in mush and snow, and it also more or less stays put on ice-covered asphalt.
Cons
  • It is significant for St. Petersburg since the temperature can range from -20 to +5 over the course of a month, thus a soft surface causes the automobile to collapse.

Tires operate peacefully and confidently on dry and rainy roads, even comparable to summer. very high grip on asphalt and resistance to hydroplaning. And compared to other tires I've tried, snow performance is superior. Never slipped or stuck. The tire is generally in excellent shape with minimal wear after three seasons.

My measurements are 225/65/17, and I have a rear clutch and front wheel drive. After seven years on the spikes, friction began once more. In general, tires designed for city driving are of very high quality. In it, I find greater comfort than I do in the summertime, according to my feelings. On asphalt that does not have a coating of snow or wet on it, it slows down substantially better than spikes do; think of it as if you were driving in the summer. When there is no snow on the road, it…

Pros
  • Calm and gentle sound Good handling On ice and snow, the friction clutch performs admirably as a braking mechanism. Good hold
Cons
  • Poor performance in deep snow On clean ice, it is unable to maintain its course.

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

There are no negative memories associated with the use of Bridgestone tires. Although the DM-V2 is technically superior, I was pleasantly surprised by how well it met my needs despite my initial preference for the DM-V1 due to positive evaluations. In favor are: Rubber has a very low noise level. You might argue it has decent road holding, but maybe it looks like a pickup truck because of the way it's built. On passenger cars, I imagine it will be even more amazing. Excellent grip on…

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

To tell you the truth, these tires are of really high quality. Since the year 2022, I've been using them. Many times, I found myself falling into the holes, which were at least made of rubber. During the ride, the grip that the tires have on the snow, both newly fallen and packed, is particularly outstanding. These tires have never failed on dirty roadways because of how efficiently they scrape the surface. However, in contrast to my prior frictions, they are able to compensate for its lack of…

Pros
  • Quality that is second to none and solid performance.
Cons
  • No results found

Poor quality, I will not buy this product again.

Disappointed, it will no longer hold at temperatures between 0 and -10 degrees Celsius on ice. The effect is unpredictable since it is influenced by both the temperature and the chemistry of the road. On ice, you can "fly" in an unpredictable manner at times. When the temperature is -15 degrees or lower, no one has any concerns. Considered the possibility of how things could be. - the rubber looks like suede. Sometimes it will attach to the surface, and other times it will stick to the soggy…

Pros
  • strength of the beads
Cons
  • actions taken while on ice

Purchased on a Freelander 2 in the year 2022 in the size 235/65/17 with the intention of using them in Hong Kong. Soft, the car's behavior on the road is predictable, it does not walk or dig into the pavement, and it has a high level of directional stability. On ice and compacted snow, of course, it requires extra careful behavior just like any other non-studded footwear would. Has some pros: Good tires that allow you to move safely throughout the winter season, slow down in a predictable…

Good quality product, I rate this purchase excellent.

Those are some fantastic tires! On both dry and wet roads, you should have a strong grip on the road and travel smoothly on it. Strong grip on snow, but stopping power is the most important factor; I had to make multiple unexpected stops, and the tires did not slip at all. They go into the turns with self-assurance, and the car does not shake or vibrate as it travels along the course. In terms of comfort, the ride is quite quiet and supple, and it is smooth and consistent throughout. By a wide…

Pros
