Nice glass body and zinc lid with quality gasket I thought the zinc top outperformed the chrome plated competitors - mine Experience is that the chrome finish will flake off over time. Overall it appears to be well built and looks good. My first concern was that there was a visible gap between the retractable spout lid and the spout. This will allow the syrup to flow out a little. The biggest problem, however, was unexpectedly small insects that got into the syrup dispenser. Not sure if they enter through a slit or small hole under the handle. I thoroughly cleaned the dispenser, filled it with syrup and the next day (after about 20 hours) I found 6 small insects in it. DO NOT BUY!
