The lid didn't even fit. I've been using this product for years and in my opinion it wasn't Kerastatse. I knew it immediately from the smell. I bought a jar in my makeup bag to compare them and the smell was definitely different and most importantly it didn't do my hair any good. This is a real problem. Fresh cosmetics in the form of a jar worked great, so there's an answer.
