I bought this to install a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8 inch for my son. We put the tablet in a case yesterday. The sizes fit. However, the camera is obscured as the camera on the tablet is centered at the top and the hole in the case is closer to one side of the case. The power button is also unavailable for the same reason (the hole didn't fit). As a result of the misaligned opening of the power button, shutdown and restart options appeared on the screen several times. It feels like it's made of heavier foam. Comfortably holds the tablet. The included straps are adjustable and we were able to hang it on the rear seat headrest as my son's car seat is rear facing. Can't comment on durability yet, but my son has pulled the foam pieces of the stand in the opposite direction and so far hasn't broken them with his childlike strength.
