Purchased to protect our stone clad coffee table. We bought the stone coffee table because of the cool look. However, the surface is not flat for resting cups. In addition, it is easily broken by accidental impact and hurting people's knees. I stumbled upon this at Revane's suggestion and it fits what we need. I can still see the beautiful stone finish but the clear coat makes it more comfortable to use. It's a little longer than we need, but I left the sides folded down to protect people's knees. I could crop it later if I need the look, but so far so good. It is packed in nice packaging when it first arrives. The manufacturer is very happy to have more than enough options to put it flat on the travel destination list and this attention to detail is what I love about this family run manufacturer, very thoughtful. When he first appeared he had a slight odor which is also mentioned in this little guide. And it went away 2 days after unpacking, no need to worry.
