Big enough but not too big

I buy spices in bulk and often the lids of the jars I used didn't have a big enough opening to fit a 1 to 1½ teaspoon scoop. Opening the hinged lid. (I have old Tupperware scoops from the late 70's.) They work well, the hinges hold up and the jars fit in my spice rack.
