Good things come in small packages

I got this radio to look through. I've checked his traits and I'm happy to say I'm very satisfied. An emergency is defined as something unexpected and often dangerous. This device is designed to help you deal with an emergency when you are out of power. From time to time the squirrel is too friendly with overhead electric wires where I live. This leads to a lack of strength. Depending on how quickly the utility company sends a crew and how long it takes them to find the problem, we could be without power for a while. Storms, tornadoes and other natural disasters also lead to electrical emergencies. And that's exactly where this radio excels. Requiring only 4 easy-to-access AA batteries, you can listen to AM, FM, and NOAA weather radio. There is a small retractable antenna to help with reception if needed. There is a flashlight as a bonus. Finally, you can also charge your phone. I found it can even charge a small tablet. Now I have to admit that I love analog. Analog controls and volume controls. There is a small LED that lets you know when you have the radio tuned to a station. The sound quality is as expected. Management is intuitive and easy. Best of all, the size is surprisingly small and light. I have included some photos to help you decide if this suits your needs. Please note, that the size isn't much larger than a standard 3x5 index card. The flash is on the side, and the switch is on top. On the other side there is a power input, a power output and a headphone jack. A small, flexible piece of rubber protects the connectors. There's even a small loop for a pen on the wrist. Ambient Weather also makes the more powerful WR-299 emergency radio, which includes a generator and solar cell. I've attached a picture of it for comparison purposes. Both will serve you well, but the WR-77 is lighter. This is a good reliable product. Although designed for emergencies, it can also be used when camping, fishing or other activities. It takes up almost no space and weighs very little. Just pack and go. I highly recommend it. Although designed for emergencies, it can also be used when camping, fishing or other activities.
