I bought this to use with my Motorola XTN Series radios. I recently used it to communicate with a crane operator during a long day of lifting. It just so happens that it was raining when I first used it and I actually tested it. I had no problems with the weather. The clip on the back is very strong and is attached to the microphone with a stainless steel plate. The remote control button on the side is flush with the case to avoid accidental presses. It also has an aggressive texture on the button to prevent your finger from slipping off when pressed. This product is very well made. If you are in doubt about buying this product or any other cheaper product, buy this one. I made the mistake of going the cheaper route and regret the money spent.
