I haven't sewn for a long time, I had no idea that pins can be of dubious quality. While these pins are of a good size and have highly visible yellow beads, they are mostly matte. From time to time I pierce fabrics that turn out to be sharp and it's so rare that it reminds me that most of them are blunt and some bend so badly with use. Maybe I just got a bad batch. I use them on top of a layer of quilted cotton and a layer of used sheet when making sheet face masks, so we're not talking corduroy here.
