Review on πŸ›οΈ Premium King Size Memory Foam Mattress Vacuum Storage Bag – Waterproof Airtight Seal for Moving, Shipping & Storage with 2 Bonus Moving Straps by Brian Avila

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bag is heavy, mattress is clean, won't roll down

I bought 2 of these, a king and a twin. I confess I was skeptical. We were moving cross country and wanted a clean and safe way to transport mattresses. Large size - we have the purple mattress. It turned out to be difficult because they are machine gunners! And used a small plastic clasp to close the bag. Plug in and unplug the Dyson vacuum. It took a while, but to my surprise, it actually started shrinking! We let him go until the vacuum got angry. Probably 10-15 minutes. He's definitely sunk a few inches. Rather in the middle. I would say max 1/3. Unfortunately, when we removed the vacuum, I heard air returning to the bag. We couldn't get a tiny gap in the end to fully close it. When the movers tried to move it, the bag opened up and became a sloppy mess. The straps weren't long enough to encircle him because he didn't sit down enough. When we got to our destination, the mattress was still clean and in the bag. We folded it in half and used the ratchet straps to keep it in place and for ease of handling. Twin is 14" memory foam. This package appeared to be fully sealed and shrunk at least 3 or 4 inches. I didn't leave the vacuum on that long and it probably would have gone longer. This bed has been in storage and I need to upgrade it If the seal holds. We were NOT able to roll it up or strap it at all.Overall it's heavy plastic and the strap came in handy for attaching other items. This is a thick bag.
