I didn't realize how heavy this clipper is and it was very uncomfortable to hold. When I turned it on, the buzzing was so loud it startled the horse. The noise level can be adjusted, but the hair clipper does not cut as quickly. I didn't even put it on a horse to try because I didn't want them to panic and hurt themselves. It seems well made and was packaged in a hard plastic carrying case, but for me it's the weight. and the hum was too much. Unfortunately I did not return it within the prescribed period (within a few days), so I am forced to keep it to myself, although I will never use it.
