where do I start, I've been drinking Nespresso coffee for a long time, I have the original and Vertuoline 1st generation. I like both very much. They don't break and serve their purpose. The 1st generation Vertuoline was considered a premium version and is very solidly built. When I see the next Vertuo for sale, I think it's time for some upgrades. , but the module head touches and feels a lot cheaper compared to the 1st gen Vertuoline. Does the water tank have a lid that isn't even connected to the tank to maybe save pennies on the connection? The bottom opening of the tank also looks cheap, I think that's why the new version has so many leak problems. The first generation uses much better material and you know it will last. Second cup holder, 100% plastic. I'm good with plastic, my local fishing line is plastic too, but it's wide and tight on the base. With this device I don't feel safe at all when I have a full cup of coffee on my tray. Can Nespresso even spend a few bucks more and make it strong? Third, coffee. I used an espresso capsule and half of the coffee spilled into the drip tray. I have been using Nespresso for many years and I think I know how to use this device. It is clear that there is a problem with the head leak. Fourth, by the time I got here, I'm tired of those fancy Wi-Fi and Bluetooth things. I logged in and clicked the back button. Nespresso, people love your products. The Nespresso machine used to be well made, but not anymore. Huge mistake. I understand that the gains should primarily come from the pod and not the machine itself. but that's no excuse for making such cheap products in hopes that more people will buy your capsule and make money. short term yes you will see positive PnL, long term it is suicidal. Nespresso needs to hire employees who love it and enjoy spending time. with coffee and machines to the product manager. Not someone from Wall Street who knows the only thing they know is pnl and the paytable. By the way, it's a shame that I'm from New York and I work in banking, so I know that this type of strategy is very common.
