Great idea, but not practical in every situation

I have a different opinion about this hammock. The idea of repelling mosquitoes is intriguing and I was looking forward to using it. However, with the mosquito net in place I immediately encountered a couple of problems: (since it's fully enclosed) - If you roll over you won't be able to catch yourself before you hit the ground as you will land directly on top of the net and along with the net fall on the ground. Sure, the hammock is pretty durable, but I watched my kids twirl around and immediately saw that scenario play out before my eyes. This would not work very well in calm and hot weather. There were also some great experiences: - Easy to install - Keeps mosquitoes away - Comfortable to stay in - Can be turned into a regular hammock without a net So for windless hot days I wouldn't use the net function, but then you invite mosquitoes over for dinner. On cooler days the hammock works very well as long as you don't roll over.

Pros
  • Camping and hiking
Cons
  • Slightly torn
