This phone mount is still great after a month of daily use. Almost all parts are metal and looks very durable. I was on bed rest and my left hand was in a splint the entire time. My husband built it for me but other than that I was only able to operate it with my right hand, including inserting and removing the phone from the clip holding the phone. Since I was only using one hand, I said I was moderately rough with it when trying to position it properly. I was also able to store my phone in a padded wallet-style case because the clip was deep enough (just over 0.5 inches from the inside wall of the clip to the inside of the front). Cons and unknowns: I might have to tighten the buttons on my knuckles every few days, but that was hardly a problem. Haven't used a larger clip on my iPad yet so I don't know how it will hold up to the weight. I would give it 5 stars barring the tiny cons and unknowns and that I'm a stingy stingy star. Edit: It's been a year since my original review and the pad that helps it hold the table has come loose (taped to the table) but that doesn't seem to have much effect and still works great! remain unchanged!
