Defective anti-reflective polarizing layer

After we've installed our TV and made sure it works, let's get down to removing the protective film. The corners fit easily and can be detached from the frame without any problems. The protective layer on the screen seemed to appear in two layers. We stopped peeling immediately as one layer seemed to want to peel away easily and cleanly and the second layer was a bit sticky and left marks on the screen as it got closer to the first. We called Revain and they called Samsung. Samsung has confirmed that there really is only one layer of protection to remove and we're swapping this TV out for another model. Leave this review to let other buyers know about this potential issue. It seems (after further internet research) that the second layer of plastic should be "anti-reflective/polarizing", but even intact this puts us off. Any reflection on the TV will appear distorted, distorted and magenta. Maybe it helps in low light conditions? Not sure as we bought this TV to work well in a high reflective environment. We might have just been unlucky and our anti-glare layer had failed, but we felt it important to share our experience with this product as we had trouble finding information on our issue.
