Excellent voice reproduction. Mid and high frequencies have the character of a live performance. Not only are the voices precise and separate from other instruments, you can hear them resonate right out of the speaker. My young daughter literally went to see who was inside. Too bad the bass is too penetrating (for classic audiophiles like me). Is it good for pop music? Check. Electronic? Check. rock and metal? Of course. Jazz - mostly yes. But definitely not for classical music. The bass problem runs deep. In Una Furtiva Lacrima, Luciano Pavarotti is at times inaudible when accompanied by a simple harp. In fact, in any piece that contains at least one cello, the bass predominates. Also, stringed instruments lack softness and roundness. The piano sounds beautiful, precise and alive. The instrument separation is excellent in the mid and high frequency range. Too bad the soothing bass overshadows everything else. The speaker has serious connection problems. With AirPlay it worked once, then never again. Plays hide and seek via Bluetooth. Requires a Bluetooth reset every time it needs to connect. For me, that means bending down and finding the little button on the back. Completely uninterrupted work.
