I gave this set to my niece to review, since she's an aficionado of craft soaps and bath bombs. Here's what she had to say:This gift set includes six bath bombs, each individually packaged in plastic wrap, and four large square bars of soap. Upon opening the box, which was neatly packaged with bits of confetti, the strong fragrance was immediately evident. The aroma is probably the best thing about the product, and each item has its own distinctive smell.I used the Island Citrus bath bomb, which is a mix of green and yellow and smells fresh and citrusy. There was no white froth like one might expect from a bath bomb, though, and it sank to the bottom of the tub instead of floating on the surface, taking about a minute to completely fizz out. However, the color dispersed well, and left the water a bright shade of green - nearly opaque in around 6 inches of water, but not quite. The scent lingered for a long time during the bath, which was quite relaxing and enjoyable. Despite the bright color, it left no stains on the tub.The soap is also handmade, and the four bars are all a decent size. The variety of different scents is great - I received Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey; Lavender; Black Rasberry Vanilla; and Honeysuckle. Even the scent of Oatmeal, Milk, and Honey, which I would have expected to be more subtle, was strong, distinctive, and rejuvenating. They lathered fairly well and were moisturizing, suitable for use as either hand or body soaps. After a few uses, the bar had barely diminished in size, suggesting that it will last a long time.This would be a great gift, and for the price, there is a lot included. However, if buying for yourself, the fact that you cannot choose which products you want and they are randomly selected would be a major drawback. They do not give you two of the same, though, and my package did not have any repeats. For somebody unfamiliar with bath bombs, this would be a great introduction, and the ideal gift for somebody looking to relax and treat themselves.
