Review on ๐Ÿ’… SpinSnips Rotating Nail Clippers: Premium Stainless Steel Clippers for Thick Nails, Ingrown Toenails, Tough Nails - Deluxe Sturdy Construction for Seniors and Adults - Silver by Tina Zeiher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It would be ideal, but a big disadvantage

These cars are wonderful. Serious. I was hesitant to spend that kind of money on nail clippers but due to various health reasons I decided to give it a try based on the hundreds of five star reviews I saw on here. In terms of functionality, these machines correspond to all reviews. The nail is not broken but cut, quickly and effortlessly. They're also very easy to rotate to any angle, and I quickly got used to doing just that for quick, clean, and easy cuts. I completed my nail extensions in record time and I was ready to come here and give a five star review. Then I closed the clipper. Or rather, I tried. I opened and closed the clippers once before using them with no problems so I didn't think much about it the second time around. Just turn the knob and close, right? Imagine my shock when my wonderful brand new clippers were blown to bits! It turns out that this clipper is made up of four separate parts - two handles, a swivel head, and a pin that goes through the first three. The pin is straight, with a slanted notch on one side. * Nothing blocks the open side of this notch. * This means that when you turn the top handle to close the clipper, the edge of this handle slips out of the recess very easily and everything falls apart. - literally. Luckily my husband and I were able to look closely at the photos of this clipper on Revain and put ours back together, but not without effort and a great deal of annoyance that such an expensive, otherwise quality item would have such a large, fundamental design flaw. To be honest, any other product that falls apart after first use gets a star from me, especially something as expensive as these clippers. I was strongly tempted to give them two or three stars. BUT when these things are assembled and used, they are truly amazing and worth every penny. That, plus the fact that we can at least put them back together if they fall apart (although it takes some effort) convinced me to give it a four star rating. As great as they are and how much work, hassle and hassle they save overall. So the buyer should be warned: these things are amazing. Be careful when you close them, and if they fall apart know they can be repaired (so don't throw them away!).

Pros

Cons
